WHAT IS COACHING?
Coaching is about partnering with someone (a client) in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to TAKE ACTION and maximize their personal and professional potential.
Coaching provides an ongoing partnership designed to help a client produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives, improve their ‘in life’ performance and enhance the quality of their life.
Coaching also provides an amazing vehicle for looking at your life, mapping out a mission, determining what’s holding you back and what you need to move forward. When you invest in coaching, you invest in yourself and your future.
WHAT IS A COACH?
A coach is an objective, nonjudgmental professional partner who gives you encouragement, support, advice and strategy to perform at your very best, without any personal agenda.
For whole life effectiveness, I will guide you, teach you and support you in achieving things that you have always wanted or once had and want to return to your life.
Coaches are trained to listen, to observe and to customize their approach to individual client needs. They seek to elicit solutions and strategies from the client; they believe the client is naturally creative and resourceful. The coach’s job is to provide support to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has.
My personal style of coaching is to work from the ‘inside out’ – meaning who you are at the core of your being and how you bring that into your relationships and work. My job as the coach is to UNCOVER, ENCOURAGE, and CHAMPION the you to trust and listen to those findings.
The co-active approach can be applied to an array of professions and occupations, it is an integrative approach which includes the client’s whole life; we experience circumstances from our personal lives in our professional lives, and our professional lives and ways of being often show up in our personal lives. So even though we may choose to focus on one area such as career, relationship, health, finances, personal growth, etc.,each area does have influence over another.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN WHILE WORKING WITH A COACH?
While working with a Life Coach, one can gain forward movement in their life while moving through areas that may feel stuck or stagnate, which can all impact one’s sense of wellbeing and whole life success.
HOW DOES COACHING WORK?
The coaching relationship is catered to each client’s needs, but generally private coaching sessions are conducted either in person or over the telephone, usually taking place two or three times per month. The length of sessions range from thirty to sixty minutes, depending on the needs of the client.
HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE EXPECTED?
As many as it takes to be effective at helping you arrive where you want to be.Because change takes time to integrate into life, a personal commitment to working for a minimum of three months is suggested.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COACHING AND THERAPY?
In a concise sense, Coaching focuses on the future and Therapy focuses on the past. Coaching is an excellent tool for clients who are emotionally functional and ready to move the next “level” in their lives. Coaching is in no way a replacement for therapy, but can be used in conjunction with therapy by further aiding a client to create action in their lives.
WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY…
“I never considered that I needed someone on ‘my side’ as much as I needed the coach in Camille. I’m clear about what direction I’m moving in and taking control of my future.” J. H., Hospital Administrator, LA
“I just wanted to tell you how much you have improved my life in so many ways!” J. B., Magazine Publisher, LA
“Our work together has changed my perspective about my work tremendously and I’ve never felt more focused or in control of my path.” E. G., Gallery Director and Artist, NYC
“What can I? For myself, there aren’t enough words to describe Camille’s amazing ability to bring light through a sky filled with clouds. I have had the pleasure of working with Camille at a time where I literary felt like there were a million things to do and not enough time – “Breaking It Down” – is what she taught me. Meaning its o.k. not to have finished everything in a day, but taking little steps and writing little reminders to keep you on track along with your everyday activities. Through our work I’ve been able to land songs on two movie soundtracks(Derailed “2005”: The Protector “2006”) and I’m sure there’s more to come. Thank you Camille for being an inspiration for myself and many.” M. R., LA, CA
“Before I began working with Camille, I felt lost. I was networking, working on my craft, and doing everything I thought I was supposed to be doing, and still getting nowhere. After our first phone session, I left feeling enlightened and in total control of my career for the first time. Camille completely prepared me for my move to LA, and once I got there, Camille welcomed me with open arms. I have since been in LA for only a short time, and feel way ahead of many of those who have been here for years. Camille is not only a business coach, but also a life coach, giving me the confidence and strategy needed to pursue my career in Los Angeles.” A. C., Sitcom Actress, LA
“My experience relocating to L.A. with Camille’s coaching was amazing!! She created an entire Coaching package to support my move. My tour began as soon as I got off the plane where I was graciously welcomed by Camille. I was absolutely amazed at how much we accomplished in such a short time. Not only is Camille a great life coach, she is a wonderful person. I felt completely comfortable being with her. I absolutely recommend her coaching and attention to detail to anyone!” C. B., LA
